Modern Scribe Delivery Information

Personalised Kits

All Modern Scribe kits (that accompany enrolment on one of our courses) are made to order and fully personalised in your name. Each one takes 5–7 working days to create before dispatch.

Delivery of your kit is included in the price of the course upon which you have enrolled. Once dispatched, standard UK delivery takes 2–3 working days to reach you.

If you place your order while enrolment is open, your kit will be created immediately and dispatched as above.

If you pre-order a kit ahead of an upcoming enrolment (for example, the Winter or Spring intake), your place is completely secure — that’s the purpose of the pre-order. Pre-orders allow students to secure a place ahead of busy enrolment periods. These orders are then created and dispatched once the corresponding seasonal enrolment opens.

Student Shop Items

The Student Shop opens seasonally, and dispatch times vary depending on the item. Some products are available for immediate dispatch, while others are marked as pre-order; this will always be clearly stated on each product page.

If your order contains both immediate-dispatch and pre-order items, everything will be sent together once the pre-order items are ready. If you’d like the in-stock items to arrive sooner, please place them in a separate order.

During busy shop periods, preparation time is typically 3–5 working days before dispatch. Delivery then depends on the postage option selected:

  • Tracked 24 (Express): 1 working day

  • Tracked 48 (Standard): 2–3 working days

Orders over £75 qualify for free standard delivery (2–3 working days).

International Orders

We currently ship worldwide from the UK. Estimated delivery times once dispatched are as follows:

  • Europe: 5–7 working days

  • USA: 7–10 working days

  • Rest of World: 10–14 working days

Please note that for orders to Canada, Royal Mail flights are currently suspended. This means international parcels cannot leave the UK at present; we will resume normal service as soon as possible.

Customs officials in each destination country may occasionally hold parcels for inspection, which can cause additional delays. These checks are beyond our control, and once a parcel has entered customs, we’re unable to expedite its release.

Any customs or import fees are the responsibility of the recipient. Delivery estimates exclude customs clearance times, which vary by country.
